The website Access2Care is developed by the Ministry of Health, Royal Government of Bhutan. The Ministry is the sole owner of the information collected on this site. We will not sell, share, or rent this information to others in ways different from what is disclosed in this policy. The Ministry collects information from our users at several different points on our website.

Web Site Registration

In order to use some features of this website, users must provide your personal information like name, e-mail address, and phone number. This information is used to contact users about the services on our site for which they have expressed interest.

Cookies

Access2Care may use cookies to remember if users have logged in while on our site. This allows website users to avoid logging in more than once, thereby saving time. Users have the option of disabling or not accepting cookies by changing the preferences on their browsers. If users opt to disable cookies, they will still be able to use our website. Questionnaire & Forms

This website hosts a HIV risk assessment questionnaire. The questionnaire collects certain demographic and behavioral data (such as gender, age, sexual behaviors), but nothing that can identify any individual person will be collected. Participating in answering the questionnaire is completely voluntary and the user therefore has a choice whether or not to disclose this information. The risk assessment result is displayed after the completion of the questionnaire for users to determine their risk level of their HIV status. However, such result may not truly determine your HIV status in which case you must visit your nearest health care center to confirm your HIV status.

The users’ data from the questionnaire will be used for purposes of analyzing the behavioral trends of target population so that the Ministry can make right policies for intervention. The website usage data will be used for internal analysis purposes to strengthen the security or to improve the functionality of our Services.

The appointment booking forms requires users to provide personal information (such as name, email address and phone number). However, such information will be kept confidential and used only for the purpose of communicating with the user if there is any risk to their HIV status.

Updates

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.
